TAE Founder
Joshua Lou is a TEDx speaker and internationally acclaimed book author dedicated to tackling the urgent issue of electronic waste. In Spring 2021, Joshua founded Teens Against E-waste to raise public awareness about the escalating problem of e-waste in our technology-dependent world. He initiated the One Million Batteries (1MB) and WEEEcycle global recycling campaigns, in particular, to make a stance that through our united effort, we can take the proper action needed to fight e-waste. To fuse his passion for computer science with environmental efforts, he created a phone-reselling/donating/recycling mobile app called $ellPhone that has been on display in the U.S. Capitol as a winner of the Congressional App Challenge. In his leisure time, Joshua enjoys cooking, solving Rubik's Cubes, practicing cardistry, and making frequent stops at Chick-fil-A.
