TAE Leadership Structure
Teens Against E-waste (TAE) is a student-initiated, student-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to raise public awareness of the pressing issue of e-waste and call for action for e-waste reuse, reduction, and recycling for a greener planet.
TAE is structured around one international executive team, four international committees, and many local branch leadership teams.
The international executive team includes President and Vice Presidents. The four international committees are Operations, Communications, Outreach, and Technology. Their leadership positions include Directors and Assistant Directors.
Leaders shall serve for a one-year term. New leadership positions will open in May for the following summer and new school year.
The local branch leadership positions may include President, Vice President, Secretary, and other positions as needed. The founding of new branches must be approved by the international executive team. Once founded, local branches may join TAE's international campaigns (e.g., One Million Batteries and WEEEcycle) and also decide upon their own projects. Local branches shall receive support and resources from TAE and other branches.
