FAQ
What is the annual period of service that is eligible for PVSA application? The annual period of service eligible for your PVSA application is from September 1st to August 31st of the next year.
How do I submit my service hours? The deadline to submit all your service hour certifications is September 5th. Ask your branch president for detailed application instructions.
I volunteered in other activities that are not related to TAE/1MB. Can I combine those hours when applying for PVSA? Yes, but the TAE/1MB hours should represent at least 80% of the total PVSA hours. Any non-TAE/1MB volunteer activity must come with a signed certificate and/or a signed confirmation letter from the contact person of the outside organization for verification. We reserve the right to decline any artificially inflated hours or activities with obscure nature.
If I have a question, who should I contact? For any questions regarding PVSA application, email Bena Feng at [email protected]. For any questions regarding your TAE service hour certification, email Joshua Lou at [email protected].
